Product Details
Multi-purpose cleaner has a compact, portable design that allows for easy storage. As effective as any full size cleaning machine, and has the advantage of getting into hard-to-reach spots. Unlike conventional chemical cleaners that push the stains deeper, the Little Green uses its powerful suction to lift up spills before they set-in.
Use to clean spots and spills, small areas, upholstery, auto interiors, stairs and more. Safe and effective to use on virtually all carpet types.
Includes tough stain brush with 3 rows of bristles to lift stubborn stains.
Using Bissell's pet odour and soil removal solution, and patented odour eliminator, the Little Green can remove tough odours, tracked in dirt, dander and other soils from pets.
Includes sample bottle of BISSELL© Little Green formula.
Tanks are easy to remove, empty and fill. It is recommended to rinse out the dirty water tank after each use. Tank has a capacity of 48 oz (1.4 L).
Cleaner has a power rating of 3 amps, and uses a cord length of 15' (4.6 m).

Good for NEW stains only-NOT old ones!

Works on NEW stains only. I have older stains in high traffic areas and it did nothing for them. Did 2-3 treatments on the older stains ..and no change at all.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Perfect spot cleaner

to take care of unexpected cat vomit & to clean up after a sloppy husband. This green machine saved me on Christmas Eve. Thankfully it was a couple hours before our family arrived. I cannot stress this enough… this product is AMAZING. My dog spilled a full glass of red wine on my carpet (splattered everywhere). I was so convinced that I would need a new rug. I decided to give this a try - and the rug is perfectly clean. Every single drop of wine came out. I will forever recommend this product!! So grateful for bissell.

A: wet....you fill the canister with water and solution, then you designate what type of mist/spray you want, then it sucks the water and dirt into the second half of the canister

Q: Does it clean blood out of a carpet? Because of an unfortunate accident I now have a blood stain on my carpet. Peroxide (recommended by the paramedics/firefighters) removed much of it but left a little behind. Will this clean blood? Thanks!

A: Since blood contains lipids (fat), if you pre-treat stain with a light mist of degreaser (using spray bottle) or something containing pine oil (ie: pine scented Pinesol) and scrub lightly with a scrub brush (I've even used high-moisturizing shaving cream on a toothbrush) then use the carpet cleaner to rinse well, you'll usually find success. The degrease-solution may need to set a couple minutes before scrubbing or even take a couple times doing, but I haven't had a problem with it removing colouring from fabric (which bleaches might). This also works for other oil-containing stains.

Q: I lent my little green to a friend and the thin hose inside is hopelessly clogged. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have already attempted to flush boiling as well as soapy water through and sometimes I get a little trickle out the end. I would really like to try to save this machine!

Q: Is there one I am interested in purchasing a Little Green Machine Carpet Cleaner. I would like to know if a 'wand' comes with the hose? I am a senior and don't particularily want to get on my hands and knees to clean the floor section of carpet. Thank you

A: No, it has a small handle, adding a wand would decrease suction and it wouldn't be able to do a good job. Try bribing a neighbour, this machine is quite easy to use.

Q: Warranty service? Ours is only nine months old and leaks constantly at the connection of the hose to the base of the machine. How do I get it repaired? Our previous model lasted a decade with no problems.

Q: So how hot is the water and solution when it dispenses onto the fabric, and can you use just shampoo and water in it?

A: The liquid is warm not hot. I've only used the bissel solution that came with it. It's a small bottle that has lasted me months and I use it once a week generally.

A: It spot cleans the carpets (all kinds) but does not dry carpets. It suctions up the water it uses to clean the carpet with so that the carpet air dries faster. Odor elimination depends on the cleaner used. So far the cleaner that comes with the machine has worked very well on pet odour and vomit.
