first ones were good

this is the second purchase of plastic lids for the wide mouth reusable jars. The first ones were, and still are, good. The second purchase was disappointing...the lids were lighter...clearly less material. They did not screw on as well as the first ones and one of these has already split at the top.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Once the jar is open, these plastic lids open much easier than the metal ones, they don't stick. Also, you keep your metal disks rust free this way, so you can use them again.
