The flag spring isn’t glued on and when it went up it went down the hole

Falls apart by turning it upside down.

The spring holding the flag is not secured to the base in any way. I was setting it up, in the process turned it partially upside down and watched the flag pole slide down the fishing hole. Never used it. Not once. Fortunately, I had bought two. The second one fell apart just as easily, but I knew better not to be too close to the hole while rigging it up. Never had this issue with the orange, SubZero makes.

No, I do not recommend this product.

easy to lose the flag off of the unit

I was not happy at all with this product. My son got it for his 11th birthday. On the 2nd day of using it the flag fell in the hole since the flag is very delicate.

I’ve caught fish with it but it’s not very good. It’s really stiff and the build quality is poor. By an HT or a Frabil.

Not worth the money!!!

Bought two of these tip ups for pike fishing and there garbage!!! The guide the line goes through when it comes off the spool spins so line can come off when all set up when the minnow swims. Once it gets water up the shaft the spool can not spin easily if a fish hits. Seems like water can get up shaft and freezes not allowing spool to spin. The trigger to set the flag of is not heavy enough a 4" minnow can set it off. Expected a lot more from Berkley!! I have a Hi-Tech tip up and it works fantastic!!! One star is too many for the Berkley Tip up!!
