The Ben-Mor Grippie is a handy plastic rope tensioner for holding things securely in place. Ideal for securing equipment like canoes or surfboards, or for tying down materials and furniture, the Grippie is simple to use both indoors and outdoors. Making it perfect for use on vehicles like cars, vans, pickup trucks and boats. Simply thread one end of the rope through the centre hole, pull to tighten in the spring loaded cleats, then thread the other end through and pull to secure. Adjust the tension as needed. We went to use the gizmo on the size of rope recommended and before we could hook everything up one of the small black plastic centrepieces fell out onto the grass and we couldn't locate it.. so el cheapo didn't last long enough to really try it out.
