sell lids separately already

this brand needs to sell lids separately already.. so bad for the environment to force us to buy a whole bin every time their flimsy lid cracks

good sized storage

great size and nice to have wheels, however you cant pack it to the brim if you want it to close. only two latches to lock it shut on each end and its very long, would be even better if there was some on each side. its nice to be able to open one half of a side at a time so you dont have to drag everything out. would be good for under a bed

Q: Does the height of the storage unit (16cm) include wheels in the measurement? My bed has a maximum clearance of about 15 cm for the space under the bed. Does 16cm (H) include the wheels (i.e. if I remove the wheels, it will be lower and fit under my bed)?

A: Canadian Tire stores do not sell the lids separately because we order them in a bundle along with the base. You may be able to have this arranged with the vendor, F&M. Their toll-free customer service line is 1-800-883-1673.

Q: what does bi-lateral wheels mean? I need to be able to pull it out from a sideways, not from the end. Do the wheels swivel so it can move in that direction easily?

A: Yes the wheels swivel. Bi lateral wheels means that the wheels are on both sides of the tote.
