Bauer Prodigy youth hockey skates help young athletes gain confidence at the rink. It starts with the wider 13-inch (33 cm) blade radius that helps to keep them better balanced. The brushed nylon liner and felt tongue offer padding and comfort, while removable footbeds allow the skates to grow with developing feet, for a longer useful lifespan. Kids find it easier and faster to tighten the skates with the pull and lock Slide Tie lacing system.

daughter tried on a lot of skates at the store and picked these ones as the most comfortable. She started skating using these and is now doing well. I like the fact you can tighten the laces easily.

She loves her skates. I could’ve purchased the same skates but in black as they were on sale but pay the full price for the white skates. What is the reason for the price difference????

No ankle support- do not recommend

I purchased these for my 4 year old for learning to skate classes that we began today. The first thing the instructor mentioned was that the ankle had incredibly poor support which was evidenced when she stepped on the ice. The laces do not go high enough to provide adequate support. Need to purchase a new pair. I do not recommend.

A: Skate sizes are generally 1 to 2 sizes smaller than shoe size. If she wears a 13 shoe she would probably wear a size 11 or 12 skate.
