Had to take everything off like the splash guards and the plastic around the chain had the bike for a month tire popped it's an odd size it's 18x2.40 tire cannot replace them they hard to find

Its good if the hardware such as pedals, brakes and chain, is adjusted right. Smooth operation comes down to these details and it is all up to the person assembling and servicing the bike as to whether it will work well for your child or not.
