Arrows stripped. Bad design.

Nice little bow but incredibly poorly designed arrow rest. When the arrow is shot, the plastic feathers catch on the arrow rest, so after about 10 shots they start to fray and peel back. Not fixable. So, we figure after about a day’s use, the arrows will have only one of 3 feathers and will be totally useless. DO NOT BUY THIS…I’m taking it back, altho we have recycled the original packaging which says “do not return to store “.

Great Bow for kids

I bought this bow because it had everything that I wish my bow had when I was their age. It is a great design to have kids learn how to nock arrows the correct way. The rest allows the arrow to shoot more consistent. The rest also allows my daughters to focus on aiming instead how worrying if the arrow will fall off the rest like the bow I had. I have 4 year old twin girls(they are strong for their age). They can pull it back just fine. I fine tune the bow by adjusting nock height and the arrows shoot out like darts. I teach the girls to not put pressure on the arrow and just on the string and the arrow fly is very consistent. Here are a few pictures of the girls showing mom how to shoot their bow before bed. This bow is great starter bow.
Remember to teach your child the safety when shooting a weapon. It is more enjoyable shooting when everyone is on the same page. (The manual has great information about this)
