Poorly made, not meant for damp environments

Bought this about a year ago. Within six months, the shelves were rusting and the bamboo pieces were growing black mold, regardless of how often I scrubbed and bleached them. The shelves never sat level anyway and out of the box one of the bamboo attachment pieces was already stripped out. I"m surprised I put up with it for this long: it wasn't engineered for wet locations and the build quality is poor. Stay away.

Terrible! Might need to cut metal to fit bathtub!

We purchased it and it looked sturdy enough, but ended up not installing because for it to fit our bathtub, we needed to trim 4 inches off of one of the metal rods. We are not equipped for such a task and thus, we would not recommend this simply because of the additional hassle/burden it placed on people who might not have the necessary equipment.

6 Months and already rusting and rotting

I bought this 6 months ago; already the varnish on the bamboo is coming off and looks like it's getting moldy or rotting at one point, the wood is warped on another basket and looks like it's about ready to pop off the screws. You cannot put the baskets at 90 degree angle (or parallel) to the wall unless you have a large enough corner, so the photo in on the site is deceptive. I see rust already starting to form a little. Kind of disappointed that after less than 1 year I will likely have to replace it soon enough. If you are going to market bamboo to be part of a shower caddy, make sure it can withstand water, moisture and heat. Same with the metal. The concept was nice and the size is great, but the materials used and construction are poor. Would not buy again and would not recommend.

Don’t waste your money, all the levels sit sideways, especially when you put any bottles in there. The smaller bottles and items just tip over and roll off.

We bougt this shower caddy 7 years ago. With 7 people in the house we needed the space for everyones different shampoos etc... Great Buy! Strong sturdy shelves, with lots of options for hanging loofas, razors and even toothbrushes. Within the past year, the wood has started to separate and the screws popped out, so time to buy another one!! Overall we are impressed with this product.

Q: How many inches do i need to cut for a 68 in ceiling? I think having to buy a hacksaw to cut something I just purchased brand new is ridiculous.

A: You shouldn't need to cut it. Leave one of the center poles out of the assembly and it should fit just fine. My shower is just shy of 6 feet and this method worked.

Q: From the top of my bathtub to the ceiling above the bathtub (it is a shower/tub combo) it is 65". Is this pole meant to fit in this space. Please respond soon. We want to get this in, or buy a new one soon.

Q: How much weight can each basket hold? It seems like they wouldn't be able to hold too much because they extend so far out from the pole.

A: The shelf is designed with a return to prevent tilting. It is capable of holding bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc.
