Net for the back of the van

I thought this was going to be a cheap net. It wven came in a small package so I grabed 2. It was bigger than I thought and didn’t need the second one for our van. The hooks are small and plastic so I bought some rings or shower hooks that did the job.

Q: How does this net attach? Does the vehicle need to have hooks already in place?

A: DOES NOT COME WITH MOUNTING HARDWARE! I bought this net because of the 2 answers saying that it came with stick-on hooks for your vehicle. Perhaps they have changed the product recently, but my packaging (sealed plastic) did NOT come with any hooks. Only the net.

Q: What is the width in inches? Length is shown as 45 to 60". What is the width? What kind of "tie-downs" does the net have?

A: The width is approx 22-23 inches. The tie downs are tabs that are either already on your car, or the tabs that are included in the package. They attach by either adhesive pads or sheet metal screws (included with the net), depending on the mounting surface. Check the package to make sure you are getting the attachments if your car doesn't already have them. You will need them.
