DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!

Don't buy this phone! I rely on the call display. Most friends don't leave messages 'cause I just call back when I check call display when coming home. After a few weeks I had folks calling asking why I didn't call them back? Bottom line, after people called, even when letting the phones ring 3-4 times - my call display was blank. Sometimes the call would show up the next day - and if it did eventually show - it was not organised by time - the phone would say person called at 11 am when they called at 6pm(the day before)?! Returned for full CASH refund. Would not accept store credit.
**This is the same phone as the Uniden - check their ratings.....
No, I do not recommend this product.

Had a pair of a cheaper brand and after a few months they'd quit and need to be unplugged and plugged back in to work again. Finally got fed up and bought this. Uniden was a highly respected name in CB radios for decades, and the quality shows in this product. Great audio, nice size and shape, good display, answering machine works, lots of good features. Most important... over 2 years and no problem.

A: You would still have to subscribe to the "Call Answer" feature through the phone company.

A: The answering system announces the day of the week and time of each message received prior to playing it. If you subscribe to caller ID service, the day, month and time are set automatically with each incoming call. However, the year must be set so that the day of the week can be calculated from the caller ID information.
