It really works

This is a great product. Not sure why some other reviews are low. I just purchased it today to hem the bottom of my jacket and it worked quite fine. The tip provided is a perfect plus to direst the powder to the exact desired area. I used my iron instead of the provided heat pad to reduce the time and get the proper heat level. The trick is to iron the area you want to repair/hem for 15-20 sec continuously and leave it to cool for 20-30 minutes. And every thing is ready to go.

Works in a pinch

Works as advertised. Not sure why people say it's messy or hard to use. Very simple, It comes with a small iron, you sprinkle on the powder and then hold the iron on it for 30 seconds to melt the glue then let it cool. It's meant for smaller jobs, so there is a lot of glue left to be used many times over. I used it on a large job which it is not intended for but it still worked, and to make it take less time I used an actual iron because it was bigger and Would shorten the process. So for $19.99 if you aren't good at sewing, this will definitely help you in a pinch. Would take about 5 minutes max to fix a hem and be on your way.

Great product, did exactly as advertised. Only drawback with it is it's impossible to get the refills of the powder. So once you have used the powder, that's it.
