    It just died

Had it for less then a year and it just died. It's never been above 250 degrees either so it's had an easy life. The thermostat still works but something is shorted in the pan itself. There's a reason why CDN Tire doesn't sell them anymore....

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Forget about it!

Like a review I just read, forget about cooking at high temperatures. This is the second one I purchased (returned the first one thinking I just had a dud), and after only a few uses it has a dark ring in the middle (where the heat element is) that is no longer non stick. I even tried to cook eggs with butter and it STILL stuck! I'm going to be returning this and not purchasing a third. Cooking at a low temperature isn't always an option. It's great the first time you use it but after a few uses it sucks.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great if you like that type of coating

I really like the Copper Chef products and similar 'copper' pans and this electric skillet is no exception. Great nonstick coating for cooking without oil. However, in order to make this type of cookware last, you have to cook on low heat and be very gentle while cleaning. If you like to cook on high or even medium-high, forget about it, you will be disappointed. Aside from the copper-like coating, it is a well-made but very basic electric skillet, similar to the other ones in that price range. I highly recommend it but only for those who are familiar with 'copper' pans (Copper Chef, Red Copper, Eco Copper, Gotham Steel).

    Yes, I recommend this product.
