I bought the product because I had heard so much about the bacteria that grows on sponges, and other dish cleaning products. This was touted as being very hygienic, and easy to use etc. Not so. It has no "scrubbing" power, the silicone bristles just flop over. It is also very slippery to hold, so hard to use. I did find it worked reasonably well to clean the inside of glasses, but because it was so slippery, even that was challenging. I would not recommend the product.
