Adored till it died

Bought this product 1yr 1/2 ago on a boxing day sale. I was so excited. I used it every day and it cooked everything seamlessly, until about a month ago it started to make a noise with the fan and then two weeks ago I put it on and smoke started to bellow out of it.
I was glad I got it on a boxing day sale, as I got it for half the price it's selling for now. Just disappointed that this product seems to have no longevity. And I had recommended it to so many people.

Loved it until it died.

I loved this product and my whole family used it all the time. We used to cook pretty much every day. It is not lade to stand up or last however. We owned it less than a year and it is dead and despite what this website says the warranty is only 60 days according the material inside the box.
No, I do not recommend this product.

After using for just 2 months, the flimsy clear plastic safety clip on the handle has broken off. The Manual says to stop using if this happens. So think I may buy a different brand. Too much money for only 2 months of service. Loved it, other than this happening.

DID NOT WORK!

I bought this Saturday then tried it on Sunday. All I got was awful electrical burning smell in the apartment. During 10 minutes of observation, fan didn't work (no spinning while viewing through vent area with a flashlight), element was red then after a minute it was dark. Felt heat from the top of the unit so I think there was probably something wrong internally. will return for a another brand. food inside was raw.

Best thing ever, but...

This is the best machine ever have we used for fries, sausage, and more, food comes out just crispy and delicious. No oil smell in the house at all..
But, that after 10 months of using it at least once a week the bottom canister started to peal leaving some big and small bare spots at the bottom. We have no scrubbed nor used sharp object to clean it and have followed the cleaning instructions.
Too bad that such good machine the manufacturer did not make an effort to make the bottom of the canister or the whole canister for that matter more durable.
I still recommended thou.

A: You do not need to use oil in the air fryer, if you desire a crispier outside you can use a spritz of oil on the food.
