Not worth the money

Looks nice in the pictures but in reality, its pretty cheap looking. Doors fall off, dont latch properly and all due to poor design and cheap materials

Ugh!

Easy to put together but we could not get the gates to line up. Hinges are cheap and too shallow. The gate kept falling off. Latch is a piece of junk. Had this for 2 days and after one rain storm it was rusting and water was getting inside so would eventually rust right through! Not worth the trouble or price! Returned to store and customer service was great.

Perfect aside from the gate

Super easy to assemble, done in less than 10 minutes. The gate is the only real issue with this arbour - you have to VERY gingerly open and close it otherwise it falls right off the tiny hinge. I will try to MacGuyver something to keep it in place, zip tie like someone else mentioned. I bought this because of the gate so I need it to work without having to re align it into place each time I open/close it. Other than that, it's perfect! 12x12 for a flower box is sufficient and CT had plenty of flower boxes on sale as well.

I will maybe give better review if I get the piece I am missing very annoying to open box get all set up and find an important part missing. Waiting to hear from Canadian Tire about how to get part. fingers crossed

Q: How wide is the gate?

A: Single gate's wide is 58 cm ( 22.8 inches ). There are two gates in an arbour, so the total wide for the two gates is 116 cm ( 45.7 inches ).

Q: How does this secure to the ground, does it need post holes or simply stick into the dirt?

A: The bottom of the planters have holes and anchor stakes are included, similar to a small pup tent. The Arbour must be level or the gates will fall off!
