Q: I found it really hard to dissolve in my water bucket before dumping it in my pool. I put in 350/10,000 L as the pool was showing signs of algae. It got really cloudy after that and 12 hours have passed and it's still really cloudy. Is this normal?

    • A: Hi, unfortunately with granular chlorine it can happen from time to time. The pool water will clear up by itself in the next 24-72 hours. Please maintain your filtration system on 24/7. Thank you

Q: How soon can you swim after using the Aquarius pool shock? Some other brands state right on the container you can swim after 15 minutes. I didn't find this on the Aquarius bottle.

Q: What shock product to use for in-ground bromine pool for weekly maintenance & is Aquarius Alkaline 7kg ok to use with a bromine pool

    1 Answer
    • A: Hi, the best product for shocking on a weekly basis is the Aquarius Oxy-Sparkle. It will reactive your bromine. You can also use the Aquarius Shock. It will shock you pool water and turn into bromine. Aquarius Alkboost can be used to balance the alkalinity of your bromine pool. Thank you

Q: Can this be safely used in a hot tub ?

    1 Answer
    • A: Hi, we don't recommend to use the Aquarius Granular Shock for spa. This products increase quickly the pH. It makes hard to balance pH in a small water volume like a spa by using this product. A balance pH has a major impact on sanitizer efficiency and user comfort. We would recommend to use the Spa Shock which is a non-chlorine shock. It is safer, faster and don't have an impact on the other parameters. Thank you

Q: What is the difference between this product (shock) and granular chlorine (product 081-0107-4)? When I check the labels and compare both products side by side, they look identical to me.

    1 Answer
    • A: Pool shock is non-stabilized chlorine vs pool chlorine which is stable. If you have a chlorine pool you'd buy the -4 product which is stable.
