This new product is just garbage. Avoid it. I don't know why they didn't bring back the Aquarius Quartz. My pool has has been cloudy for weeks because this just doesn't filter well. I went to my local pool shop instead and got a much finer sand. Cloudy pool cleared up in 48 hours . Wish I could get my money back

$30 of garbage. Aqua Quartz, which was sold years prior, was 1000% superior vs. this dirty disgusting Gravel. Horrible product. Bring back the Aqua Quartz. Do not waste your time, money, or risk your back on this horrible product.

I want to buy silica #20, but expensive, I saw this in Canadian tire cheaper, I have a doubt in the beginning coz the granules bigger, I surprised less than 24 hours I saw the bottom of the pool.

A: This sand is specifically graded for pool filtration and should not be used for sand blasting. There are other products that are designed more for sand blasting applications and a local perfessional should be able to advise of the best product for the application.

Q: Can this be used as a desiccant? I'd like to use it to dry flowers and this seems like it could be a cheap option.

Q: My filter says only no. 20 Silica Sand (.45mm - .55mm). Is this the size of these particles?

A: Dear customer, The two products are the exact same product, just in different size packaging. They are both a #20 grade silica sand that is ideal and required for most pool filters.
