    Check size of mini puck

Check the size of mini. I was expecting one inch diameter and these were about 2.5 inches.

Q: The package says pool, can I use these in my hot tub?

    • A: Hi, yes no poblem. The only difference is the compression, the puck may dissolve a litle faster in hot water. Thank you

Q: are these 1 inch pucks?

    • A: Sorry, I got this answer wrong. The TABLETS are 1 inch in diameter and 5/8 of an inch in thickness. The PUCKS are 2 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick. I mistakenly bought the pucks for my hot tub but they don't fit in my floating dispenser, so I am using them up in the pool. I got confused because the package shown is what my tablets come in. The pucks came in a bucket instead. Sorry for being misleading.

Q: how many mini pucks do i put in the dispenser/week for a 9,150L pool?

    • A: Put in enough to maintain at least 1.0 PPM chlorine readings, using test strips to check each morning.  At times I only need 1 per day, other days 2 or more may be required.

Q: Does this product work with both hot tubs and pools or just pools?

    1 Answer
    • A: The Spa Tab (813708) would be the best product for chlorine tablets to be used in a spa. They do have a harder compression compared to the Stabilized Chlorine Mini Puck, 2Kg (0813743)which will tend to a slower dissolution. It will be easier to maintain a stable chlorine level.
