A: The Liquid Pool Algaecide 15%, 3.78-L (0813734P), does not contain copper, nor any Aquarius Algaecide. In a long run, copper may stain the water or the surfaces.

Q: How long after adding 2 jugs of 15%Aquarius Algaecide to my 88,000 lt pool can I resume normal human use of the pool? I added 2, 3.78 lt jugs to an 88,000t pool. How long after adding this quantity of product to this size of pool is it safe to resume normal use the pool.

A: Normally algaecide is added during night time once the pool is no longer in use so that the following day, you will be able to swim. Or if it is added during the day, a minimum of 6 hours.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. When you use this type of Algaecide in excess it will foam as it has foaming capabilities. It is not harmful but it does show foam if agitated as in swimming. The best way to get rid of this foam would be a defoamer. The amount of defoamer needed depends on the size of the pool. The best thing to do is backwash,clean your filter and add fresh water and continue that process until it stops foaming.

Q: i have added this to my pool ,now i have this huge bubble bath in my spa, how do i knock this down

A: This product has foaming properties and if too much is added it will cause foam. We imagine the spa is attached to the Pool and you are using the same water? Also the use of the jets in a spa would make this even worse. You can use a defoamer but the best thing to do is backwash the pool, clean the filter and add fresh water. This could take a long time depending on how much of the product they have put in the pool.
