Clear It is an essential for keeping your pool from getting cloudy. You don't need a lot. Read the instructions. It takes a week or more to work. The cloudiness will disappear, and white sand will appear on the bottom of your pool. Use your filter or vacuum to remove the sand. I suggest cleaning your filter every week or two, and replacing it every couple of months.

Q: Has the formula changed? I just opened a new bottle and it is a very thick, blue liquid, not the semi-transparent liquid I am used to.

A: Hi there, I just purchased this item and it is still semi-trasparent as always....not blue. This white and pink bottle is for pools, though. The smaller grey bottle of Clear It is a thick blue liquid, but it is for Spas and does very well! Hope this helps! :)

Q: Can this be used in a hot tub? Is it the same as the Aquarius Spa Clear It?

A: I use Clear It in both my indoor and outdoor hot tubs. It works as effectively as the Aquarius Spa Clear It. I’ve used it for many years and I’m very happy with how how well it binds the water particles together for filtering, skimming, and always resulting in great water clarity.

Q: Can this product be used with clorine pucks at the same time, or do the clorine pucks need to be taken out and used only by itself?

A: I use this product with Bromine pucks and I leave them in and have had no problems to date and I have been doing it for years. I hope this helps. But please note once I added clorine shock to my tub and my water turned very yellow because I have been using bromine just a note.

Q: Aquarius "Clear It": what is active ingredient that does the flocculation? Label says "no alum". Label on Aquarius "Pool Water Clarifier" says it contains aluminum sulphate (alum). If "Clear It" doesn't contain alum, how does it do its magic? Thanks!
