Q: I have a coleman 22x12x52 pool that is 26,845 L. I've calculated that based on 150g/10,000L I would need approx 400g, however since there is no scoop with this product how much would that equal using a measuring cup?

  • A: Yes when now the water is a little cold for the chlorine generator to produce chlorine. Any temperature less that  50 degrees F you need to supply the chlorine. If your worried there are test kits that let you know what the level is

Q: I'm looking for plain calcium hypochlorite. Can you recommend a product that has just this ingredient and nothing else?

2 Answers
  • A: if you are looking to treat a spa or pool, this is the stuff you want. the straight calcium hypochorite is too unstable for storing.

Q: If I use this as shock treatment , does it do sanitizing and shocking at the same time , so i don’t have to buy “shock “ as well ??

  • A: Hi, yes no problem, the granular chlorine can be use for regular maintenance and shock. Please read carefully the dosage on the instruction. Shocking has a higher doage. Thank you

Q: Can this product be used in hot tubs

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, we do not recommend using granular chorine to sanitize or shock spa water. It raises very quickly th pH and make it difficult to stabilize. Chlorine granules can also sit at the bottom when added to water and damage the acrylic. Thank you
