So good I bought a Second One!

I have had one of these watches for nearly one year. It has done everything I wanted. It has exceptional battery life and has averaged 4 to to 5 weeks between charges. I do turn it off when going to bed as I don't care to monitor my sleep, which likely saves the battery. Based on this experience I bought a second watch to replace the original when it wears out. In order to pair the new one the old one needs to be removed and you may have to restart the app.. At the current clearance price you can't go wrong!

This watch worked for me a few months then it wouldn’t charge the watch with the provided cable. I tried to charge it with another cable still it didn’t charge the watch. It’s a faulty watch . I won’t recommend this product to anybody.

Q: Does this keep track of your sleep

A: It does track sleep, reporting total hours of sleep, and hours of light sleep vs. deep sleep on the watch. In the app it shows a nightly chart that includes light/deep/wake times. There are no controls, and there is no explanation of the method. It probably uses movement and heart rate. Sleep time starts automatically in the evening (unknown how - could be extended horizontal position, lack of movement). It still shows the previous night's total until the display resets at midnight, but sleep time recording for the current night can start earlier than midnight. The breakdown is rough, but I think it's useful. Check it first thing when you get up, because unfortunately it tends to continue adding to the total for an hour or so until it decides that the sleep period is well and truly over.

Q: Message notifications not working, I have checked it’s paired, turned device one and off. Lost device and re connected it worked initially but nothing I can do to make it work now . Is it broken?

A: Angie, what I found is that my Bluetooth connection constantly kicked out. It would appear to be connected but wouldn’t get my notifications. What I had to do to fix it is to remove the device and then pair again. Then just do that again when it kicks you out , mine would happen quite frequently …

Q: How do I turn off the App completely on an Android smartphone? Logging out closes the app but my notification bar says it’s still running in the background. When I log back in the unit settings, personal info, etc has changed back to the default settings!

A: Hello - the team spent some time trying to duplicate this issue and it seems the issue is occurring if you have your phone display settings on zoom / show larger text. It makes all the contents bigger and then hides the "next" button. The software developers are fixing this and should be ready by Monday. However in the meantime could you please try put the display back to default rather than larger text. This should be in your phone settings. Once you have set back to default you can restart the ApexBit app and it should work normally and you will be able to see the "next" button.

A: If you check the manual for the Apex Fit Plus the app is Apex Wear. Unlike the Apex Fit, the Apex Fit Plus allows you to make phone calls, works well.

Q: I purchased this watch near the end of December and have not been able to use it because it will not hold a charge. Anyone else experience this?

A: since the watch automatically turns off after 15 seconds of idle time. this saves battery. mine is on day five . all I ever have to do is raise my arm to activate it so very little juice is used when I am not accessing screen.

A: my sleep tracker works but after 0930 local time it reverts to zero, on watch. doesn't record anything before line 930 the midnight from what I can see. / however if you check your Apex phone app with will not only show you your sleep time but indicate both heavy and light,
