A: It does , but because its on your arm, its not that accurate, because its based on arm movement, not steps. If you walk with hands in your pocket, it will record less steps than you walk, or if you move your arm even while sitting or standing, it will record some of those movements as a step. Apparently I walked 48 steps while standing at the bathroom counter shaving.
