    pond pump

Although the pump has lots of pressure there is no adjustment for water flow. On the box it says pump can be regulated but when I got it home I found that you need to buy more accessories to complete this task. CT does not sell them. Also the front removeable face is not strong and fell off with just the touch of a hand. Thank God CT has a no hassle return policy

No, I do not recommend this product.

    1 - 5 of 5 Questions

Q: What makes this pump not work well when supplied with solar power? (referencing the previous Q and A)

    1 Answer
    • A: For the 850gph pump to work with solar power you would need a very large solar panel with a huge battery. Larger motors have a really high power draw and use way more electricity than solar can provide. Solar power is typically applied to very small – small fountain pumps. Most solar water pumps are described by the power they provide rather than the typical GPH. For instance a solar water pump may be described as being; 7V 1.5W. Solar power is dependent on the charge at the time of use and therefore it’s output is therefore highly inconsistent.

    1 Answer
    • A: 120V, 60Hz, 75 Watts, 0.8A. Donc si la pompe fonctionne 24heures par jour, la consommation serait 75*24/1000 1.8Kw par jour.
