Disappointed with purchase

The pump cuts off intermittently. Would prefer it to pump continuously. Probably will return it for a refund. Any comments? Is there something wrong with the installation? Is there a setting for continuous, as I do not see it.

Killer fountain pump

I bought one of these babies on sale as a fountain pump. With a dome fountain head it creates a dome 36 inches wide. A multi-tiered head shoots 4 feet into the air. If you want a nice big fountain in the pond, this will do it. Would also do waterfall of 3 foot lift pretty good too. Flow is adjustable and comes with 3 different sizes of pipe connections, thank you! These Sunterra pumps are built really well too. We'll see if they last.

Not very expensive pond pump

I have a small fishpond and the city where I live has a rule against stagnant water so I use this pump to make a small waterfall and I have no complain so far; it works just fine.

Q: What does extended period of time mean? Does that mean it is intermittent flow?

A: The pump will run for an extended period of time if: -Water being used is clean -Temperatures are not freezing -The pump is fully submersed (ie: there is sufficient water for the pump to operate) To clarify, the pump will only work if it is submersed in water; if the item is left running without water, it will burn out.

Q: Est-ce que je peux adapter un boyau d'arrosage à cette pompe? J'aimerais faire circuler de l'eau dans un boyau d'arrosage noir de 50 pieds pour réchauffer ma piscine. Je cherche une pompe juste pour y faire circuler l'eau continuellement durant le jour. Merci,

A: Inclus avec la pompe est un 1/2 " et 5/8" raccords cannelés qui pourraient être utilisés pour les tuyaux d'arrosage plus communs. Tu devra cependant couper l'extrémité femelle hors du boyau d'arrosage et glisser le tuyau sur le raccord cannelés. Il n'y a pas d'adaptateur disponible pour convertir le tuyau d'arrosage (bout femelle) à la pompe directement.
