It works!

I was skeptical about this product, I'm not going to lie. But, it proved me wrong! We have used this for the past 2 winters and it is very effective, as long as you are using it the way you are supposed to. It kept ice from forming on our sidewalk and steps and made me feel safe. Would definitely recommend this product.

I am a strong believer in prevention is better than cure. I love this product because I'm not a fan of shoveling snow so this really helps reduce the amount of times I need to shovel within a season. It is definitely worth the extra dollars over a regular bag of salt.

was interiged by the product and after the first treatment i was hooked. You kind of have to watch what the weather is going to be like and works best if you lay if down either before is snows or as just starts. Just makes snow clean up a breeze.

Q: I sprayed the product on my concrete sidewalk 24 hrs ago, there is no snow now byt my sidewalk is stained!! Does is stay like that forever???

A: Hello Ziuenka, Your concrete sidewalk is not stained. it is similar to when you see how roads and highways look after they have been sprayed with the liquid brine. That is the same way the preventer will look. Snow and rain would wash away any "wet" look. Thank you

A: Alaskan Liquid Ice Preventer is highly recommended for vulnerable surfaces such as masonry (stone or brick), wood, or concrete that is pre-cast, chipped, cracked, spalled, weathered, has exposed aggregate, or is less than 1 year old. Please note: treated surfaces may become very slippery until the applied liquid Ice Preventer solution has dried

A: It is recommended to keep pets off the treated area, immediately after applying the liquid, and until the area has completely dried. We would not recommend using this product in an animal pen or compound where prolonged exposure could dry out their paws, and it would be a good practice to wipe your pets paws with a damp cloth when they re-enter the home. The warning label on the product states: •Risk of frost bite if cold product touches bare skin. CAUTION: MAY IRRITATE EYES AND SKIN. Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing.
