Good Glue, Poor Instructions

Glue work very well. Rating would be higher but instructions are not thorough...doesn't indicate which side of patch to use (rough or smooth) nor how quickly to apply patch (glue was getting tacky within 5 to 10 seconds). Also, I put glue on both the patch and repair area based on instructions from other very similar products and general experience with other glues. I used a different patch than one from kit....one that came with the air mattress I was repairing, its surface was more like the rough side of the patch that came with the kit. Packaging different than what depicted so took a bit to find it.

Used it for my truck box tonneau, unfortunately the kit had white patches, and I have a black tonneau cover, but placed the white patch inside and the repair is holding up good!, and can’t see the repair area!! Would use again!!

A: I would say it's worth a try for a vinyl liner for an above ground pool given the cost. It DID'NT work to repair my air mattress but I intend to try again and use our pool to locate the leak once more.

A: The Airhead Vinyl Repair Kit has not been tested specifically on the Zodiac RIB w, Hypalon tubes but is made to repair a variety of vinyl damage across multiple products. It would also depend on the damage to the until itself.

A: Hi. I am an inflatable guy. Glue the rough side of the patch. The smooth side has more vinyl coating to give you the wear and tear and blend into the original vinyl. This glue is about wetting the patch and the damaged area. Apply immediately then apply pressure gently with a rounded stone or something, Press from middle outwards to the edges. And to be effective, it needs drying time (curing) next day is best but you can use in few hours if you are gentle in use.

A: Yes, the Airhead Repair Kit can be used as a patch and/or repair to the seams. Use the sealer while the product is deflated and allow to dry. You may need to reapply depending on the damage to the seam. Keep in mind that some damage is irreparable.
