      Questions

      1 - 4 of 4 Questions

Q: Will this work for boat traler wires thanks

      1 Answer
      • A: The Nitroflux (paste) kit is primarily used for plumbing soldering repairs on copper brass, lead, tin, etc. If this is for an electrical repair we would recommend Electrisol 058-6000-8 (8-oz) or 058-6003-2 (3-oz) which contains a flux already inside so no need for solder paste.

Q: Would this be applicable to that of electrical flux? Since Canadian tire does not carry electrical flux and this is acid free could I use this for electrical purposes.

      1 Answer
      • A: The type of flux depends on the materials being soldered and the application. Flux can be difficult to clean off of electronics and damage them if left on. We need more information on what materials you are working with. Please contact Bernzomatic directly at 1-800-359-9678 or info@bernzomatic.com
