Q: Can Afresh be placed in a sum pump where there is standing water if we don't get rain for long periods of time, also would it clean the area/tub where the hole that the water comes into? Would it damage my sum pump?

A: Hi Kathy, thank you for contacting the Whirlpool Central Advisors! Using an Affresh tablet won't damage the sump pump but it also won't do its intended job since the tablet needs the mechanical movement to break down the tablet and activate the chemical energy. For better results, you will likely want to look into a cleaner more designed for sump pumps. I hope this helps - Whirlpool Central Advisors

A: How to clean your washing machine: 1. Empty your washer. 2. Place one tablet of affresh® Washing Machine cleaner directly in the washer tub—not in the dispenser. 3. Run the washer on a clean washer cycle or a normal cycle with hot water setting. 4. Simply wipe away any residue left behind after the cycle ends
