Works ok. App & support not very good.

Bought this item, to help with blood sugar. The motor is quiet and strong enough to handle my weight.
I had to buy two different tablets before I found one that worked with this treadmill. It will not work with a phone. Even then, the app is pretty basic.
I called for support today. Nobody was available to answer, all they could provide was a call back, which took over 6 hours. Note that the term "support" is theoretical at best, as the agent who called was the most unhelpful support agent I've ever encountered.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Great Treadmill!!

I've had this treadmill for about a week now and it's highly comparable to the one's at the gym. I especially enjoy how it can be linked to the tablet via Bluetooth and the free app is quite sturdy so far with no disconnections when in use. (The app also allows multiple users to have their own data and history stored which makes it even better for the family!)
I picked it up from a nearby Canadian Tire while it was on sale and it definitely was the best bang for the buck. It's EXTREMELY HEAVY so it would be best to have a couple of guys assist in getting it into the house. Minus all the separate parts, the one piece unit is approximately 200lbs, 150 lbs on the side of the motor and 50 lbs on the other, give or take.
Overall, the features of the treadmill are great, the auto inclination is quick, the motor is extremely quiet (had it on for 20 minutes not knowing it was still running), the 60" running platform makes you feel safer knowing there's extra room in case of anything, its 20" wide, compared to the others which are 15"-16" that were in the same price range while on sale.
It comes with a bottle of lubricant, good for 2 applications, and it also comes pre-lubed so it's good to go after installation!

Read numerous reviews of various treadmills, tested lots of options, brands...we were looking for something that would have a descent CHP that would give both of us about 1hr a day each with no issues, at a fair price.
Picked up this treadmill about a month ago when it went on sale here - no regrets. Their app is free and we can both create profiles and monitor our workouts. I'm more of an incline walker and longer time jogger at lower speeds. My husbands more at running shorter distances at high speeds.
Very quiet motor indeed. Wish the fan was a bit more powerful, but it's not much of an issue. Box fit in the back of our Santa Fe to bring home. Definitely need a fridge cart to move it - even with two people. Instructions are very easy to follow - we were set up in about an hour.

Having used many different treadmills in hotels and at the office, I found the AFG Sport 5.7AT to be at least as good from a basic functionality perspective but excellent in terms of belt length and low noise level. The user interface via a tablet app is what differentiates this treadmill from the rest. Intuitive, easy to use, bug-free, it puts technology to use in a very useful way. The basic controls on the treadmill itself are good for changing speed and incline (which can also be done via the app) but the detailed view of all aspects of a workout on the tablet and the ability to review workout history makes this unit exceptional. I would recommend it to anyone with a tablet looking for a treadmill.

Q: A reviewer said that only newer tablets can be used. Can I get further explanation? I have an ipad 4 with latest iOs. We also have android tablets that are a couple of years old. What about iPods?

A: You have to have bluetooth 4.0 in your devise to be compatible. My iPad 2 is not compatible - it's bluetooth is 2.(something). My husbands is an iPad Air 2 - with 4.0 bluetooth - works perfectly with the treadmill. FYI - their app is awesome - we've only been using it since the past weekend, but love the various fit test, 5K's, various workouts and the best is tracking each users workout history. Let's you see how well you're progressing.

A: We would not suggest running a TV and the treadmill on the same 15 amp circuit. It is suggested that the treadmill be on a 20 amp dedicated circuit for best performance. Any reduction below the 15 amp level could damage the electronics on the Treadmill and potentially the TV.
