Cet appareil ne vaux pas le prix. J’ai fait l’essai avec l’achat des piles fraîches de Canadian Tire.. C’est votre appareil que j’ai acheté avec des points. Ça ne fonctionne pas du tout. Je continuerai d’acheter chez vous, puisqu’il d’autres produits vaut le déplacement. J’achèterai un thermomètre le plus simple possible. À la prochaine.

it works about...

a month ago
half the time. doesn't seem to communicate with the outside sensor all the time. might be a battery issue, but they were new Duracell's, so i don't think so. also would be nice if display had a way to hang it on a wall, rather then the useful but not always wanted easle stand like support. when it works i do like it, nice to check the temp withought the internet. easily readable etc.

Q: I have just set my unit up, they are side by side yet showing a 4 degree difference. Is there a way to fix this? I tried the button 20 times but no change.

  • A: As I mentioned, I had already tried the reset procedure as outlined previously by Springfield Customer Care multiple times to no avail. Their response ignoring that fact and recommending the same thing again wasn't helpful. The product has been returned.

Q: Stopped showing outside temperature, replaced batteries in the outdoor sensor as well as the indoor receiver. Still not showing outside temperature

  • A: Remove the batteries from the sensor. Then disconnect the power adaptor (if any) & remove batteries from the weather station. Press any button 20 times on the weather station (without the power adaptor & batteries in the unit) Then put the batteries back in the sensor first, then the connect power adaptor & put batteries in the weather station. Keep the sensor beside the weather station for 1-2 hours (to let unit acclimatize) to ensure a good connection.

Q: Is the white thing the outdoor sensor? (has slot on back to hang on a screw, needs to be located in dry place.)

  • A: Hi Rational Keith. Yes, the white unit is the outdoor sensor. It is designed to be mounted outdoors using the slot on the back and should be placed in a dry, sheltered location, out of direct rain and direct sunlight, for the most accurate temperature readings. The main display unit remains indoors.

  • A: Mettre des piles dans le capteur et le placer à l'extérieur à moins de 200 pi du récepteur. Appuyer sur le bouton IN/OUT à l'avant du récepteur pour changer en petit ou en grand les températures intérieur et extérieur à l'écran (les inscriptions IN et OUT s'inscrivent à droite de la température) Appuyer sur le bouton °C/°F à l'arrière du récepteur pour choisir l'unité de mesure.

  • A: The max lowest temperature reading it can register is -30C, but we recommend the use of Alkaline batteries for such low temperatures.
