Exchanged a defective replacement actuator with a lifetime warrany for perfection actuator.

Q: Please confirm that there is a lifetime warranty on this product and explain how to get a replacement in case it fails. Does the warranty apply if I install it myself. I have had problems with replacement door lock actuators on my 2006 Dodge Caravan.
