Product Details

  • Monroe Reflex struts feature ASD valving technology to improve the handling and comfort of most vehicles. This technology senses a bump in the road and automatically adjusts the strut to absorb the impact, leaving the strut with greater control when it is needed.

  • Improves Stability — ASD (Acceleration Sensitive Damping) valving technology adjusts to impacts, reducing roll and dive for vehicles with a higher center of gravity.

  • Control & Durabillity — PTFE-banded piston provides consistent sealing between piston and pressure tube for better control and increased durability.

  • Longer Service Life — Bronze reinforced rod guide bearing and special single lip seal combined with hardened, chrome-plated piston rod provides durability and longer service life.

  • Optional Dust Boot/Jounce Bumper — Protective dust boot reduces dirt and moisture, while jounce bumper helps prevent severe suspension movement (both sold separately).

  • Buy with Confidence — Backed by Monroe’s Limited Lifetime Warranty and exclusive Feel the Difference™ Guarantee.

  • Strut Position - Front

    Gone in 50k

I've replaced all 4 struts on my 2007 Santa Fe 3.5 years ago, when my odometer was at 155 000 km point. First impression was just great, especially compare to the original worn struts. But after about 25 000 km, struts showed signs of weakness, handling became not that great as it was before and now after 55 000km front right is done. I was near by my mechanic, who should change the oil. For that reason he was lifting my SUV and in that moment we both heard lound noise. I even didn't understand waht was that. And my mechanic told me - "did you see that?" I asked what? He said your front whell was released bu strut only now (when truck was about 3 ft above the ground). It stucks in top position. I cannot believe it - top series struts cannot run 60 000 km. And now seems like I gonna have headache with Canadian Tire because of their so called "Limited Lifetime Warranty".

No, I do not recommend this product.
