The new hose was super easy to change, minimal instructions given but was pretty self explanatory. Took only minutes to replace. Was super happy to see I could buy just the hose and not have to replace the whole shower assembly.They had a good selection to choose from, with a decent price range. The quality seems equal to the original.

Q: Will this replace a MOEN hose (That is junk)?

A: Unfortunately, as I was not replacing a MOEN hose in my situation, I cannot for certain say that it could replace the MOEN hose, however as I recall, this one was a "universal" hose replacement, so unless MOEN has a special thread or sizing, it should fit. Hope that is helpful. Thanks for asking.

A: PLASTIC! Serious flaw. Tube is fine stainless steel, very flexible. Then they put cheap plastic fittings, mine split in 9 months.

A: Hi Gail, Thank you for your interest in Peerless. If the connections are correct with your existing hose, yes it could be used as an extension. However, it is manufactured as a separate hand shower hose and is intended to run as a standalone. -Masco Canada/Peerless
