A: Thank you for you question. It is the bulb installed in the recessed fixture that would dictate if it is dimmable or not. The ones included are halogens and are dimmable. If you wish to change them in the future, simply make sure you select dimmable bulbs. - Globe Electric

Q: Mounting on a drop ceiling Do I need any additional mounting equipment to mount these in a dropped ceiling?

A: Thank you for your question! We strongly recommend the use of support brackets (Canadian Tire item # 052-8669) for each recessed kit to be mounted. The support brackets will distirbute the weight of the recessed kit onto the metal frame of the floating ceiling. Globe Electric Oct 2011
