If your vehicle is not equipped with wiring for towing a trailer, CURT custom wiring is the ideal solution. Questions
Q: Attempting to install this kit on my 2017 Honda Accord Touring Sedan (installing Curt 56299), I am ending up with a plug at the driver-side tail light with a red & white wire on it, that there is no plug on the tail light to plug it into. Any ideas?
3 years agoA: So I did follow-up with Curt customer service a few days ago, and they advised me that Curt part # 56299 is for the US Accord, and for the Canadian Accord, I'd need Curt part # 56173. Oddly enough their website indicated that this wiring harness is for the hybrid '16 & '17 Accord, however based on the pictures of the harness, it has the right number of plugs to match my Canadian '17 Accord touring sedan (non-hybrid, with the 2.4L engine), so I've ordered that one accordingly.
