After 1 week toaster won’t work

Purchased this toaster and after a few uses the right side of the toaster has stopped staying down. Left side still works but I need a four slice toaster for our family. Going to try and contact manufacturer as I know it can’t go back to store now.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I really like this toaster. The dial can be adjusted mid cycle, and it just does what I want it to. My previous toaster had a LCD with a dozen options on it, and you had to click through and select toasting options and length of cycle, it was a lot of button pushing and time. I put in toast, i drop the plunger and i am done. If i realize someone set the timer to max, I can adjust it down on the fly with little effort. I did not give 5 stars because on side on one slot is over-toasting compared to the other 7 sides. I will be exchanging for another one and hopefully it will be consistent on all 8 sides. I would buy again.
