2 years agoA: This will easily remove the adhesive under the sticker, but you’ll need to get the sticker vinyl off first. If the sticker os on glass, use a razor blade and glass cleaner. If the sticker is on paint, you’ll need an eraser wheel.

Q: I have painting tape that’s been left on my boat for too long I cannot get the tape off, will this adhesive remover work?
4 years agoA: I have this stuff and can say it’s not the greatest. It may work if there is mostly just the sticky residue left over from your tape, but there are better products out there.

Anonymous5 years agoA: Hi, thank you for your question. The 3M Specialty Adhesive Remover quickly removes wax, grease, oil and adhesive residue and will not harm most cured automotive paints. It is suitable for vinyl and glass surfaces. As long as it’s a cured paint, it should be okay but the paint might need waxing later.

2 years agoA: This is the only product that worked on the old adhesive under the rug in my vintage trailer. I tried citrus cleaner. The only precaution is the fumes; have a fan blowing fresh air toward you with proper ventilation at all times.

Q: Could this be used to remove a window tint?
9 years agoA: This product will not harm glass, but it’s efficacy will depend on the adhesive used by the manufacturer of the film. Best if used in conjunction with a sharp razor blade being careful to avoid injury. Blade would not be recommended if being used on rear glass over the defrost lines.
