Q: Can this tape be used for mounting power adaptors under desks? I am trying to find a strong tape to do under desk cable management for my PC. Thanks.

A: Yes it can, but if you need to peel it off, it can be quite messy and sticky. For this application, I would suggest a product called Alien Tape which is sold both online and in stores. This product would be perfect for your application

Q: What is the thickness of this tape, and can it be applied to hold a plastic/vinyl molding to a tinted glass window on an automobile? Temp range would be from -40C to 45C. Is this the same tape as 3M VHB LSE-110 tape?

A: Thanks for your question. This tape is about 0.8 mm will work in that temperature range but you should only use the tape recommended by the manufacturer of the molding. The manufacturer would have performed testing to select appropriate tape. It is not the same tape as the LSE-110.

Q: how will this product perform under heat? Can it be used to affix an engine emblem on a motorcycle that is near, but not directly onto a heat source?

A: 3M Auto Molding Tape will withstand temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius. Ensure that the tape has good surface contact, i.e. the majority of the emblem surface area.
