Very strong and adaptable set of Metric and Imperial sockets plus some hex wrenches in a reusable case. A similar product costs 2 times the price at a discount store. In these days when Department stores are getting scarce it is great to know CTC is still there and strong helping Canadians. I buy all my home appliances and hardware and even seasonal clothing at CTC !

Good Price and decent quality but returned it

The problem with this set is it didn't have the socket that I needed for my repair. Great price and seemed a great tool set for an exception price when on sale. But if I remember the metric sockets go up to 8 mm then you get a large one at 13mm, I needed a 10 mm so it is really hit or miss if you have the right socket for the job. Fortunately the company has another set that was perfect for me Jobmate stubby tool and socket set 45-pc which has all the missing sockets and on sale was very close to the price on this one. I would check that one out first.

Q: How do you open the set? I tried opening it,but the lock (sliding) part won't come out to let me open it and I don't want to break the set, so I'm not sure what to do. Please help, thanks.

Q: what is the round piece? What is the round piece that is above the 'ratchet' ? It has teeth on the outside of the wheel --- it may be the "1/4 Disk'' but what is it used for ? Thanks

A: It can be used in cramped spaces where the ratchet will not fit. The socket attaches to the disc and it is turned by hand.
