Good idea. Not good engineering.

I just bought this product however, it is the "newer" version. It is the same design but the lights are combined into one and it has a smoother look to it. Cdn Tire has not updated their website yet, I guess. This is designed for the older style outlets with the screw in the center but it will still work on the newer Decora style receptacles. It just doesn't screw onto it. It only plugs into one of the connections so while to get 4 plugs, you lose one on the main plug. The biggest drawback I find is that I really had to push to plug anything into it. It didn't readily accept anything in my house. I tried 8 different things from TV to lamps, DVD player, phone charger etc. So far there have been no negative effects so I'm using it for my spare tv and digital box.

I bought this for my kitchen. I agree that the product design could use updating. I have decora outlets and cannot secure the block to the outlet. Otherwise it is great. I would recommend this as a good product.

Wow, ca c'est une belle/bonne invention ! Très pratique pour plusieurs endroits. De bonne qualité. On peu même l'installé en permanence si on veut avec une vis en plein millieux qui est fourni, si non on peu aussi l'enlevé. J'en possède au moin 5 depuis plusieurs années et j'en suis très satisfait. Assé abordable en spécial.
