    Mass Air flow Sensor

    i bought it for a 2004 GMC Canyon that started running rough, after doing the "Yutube Mechanic" i had in stalled the Mass air flow sensor in August 2025 and , it would throw engine codes, but other times would not idle properly and eventually the truck would actually stall out and it was hard to re-start which would deplete my battery to the point it even roll over. a friend suggested trying the original GM sensor and to my surprise my truck started and ran like it should have. it must have been faulty , and being new it was the last thing i considered as it being faulty, the next thing the suggested the O2 sensor(s) as there are 2 on my truck. i returned the faulty sensor to the store i had bought it from and got store credit, i don't blame the store as sometimes even parts are faulty.
