Q: HI, my 2014 Hyundai accent keeps dying on me have to boost it all almost every couple of days on cold days everyone keeps saying it's my battery but everything lights turn as bright it can be so I think it's my alternator what's your thought's?

A: your alternator charges your battery when the engine is running. Sounds like you have a battery thats only holding a small capacity charge and loses it quickly in colder weather.. Try putting a trickle charger on it while you wait between days. A trickle charger will keep the batter as its peek capacity (capacity is less if the battery is bad) 12V will turn your cars lights on but only amperage will allow your engine to crank and start.

Q: Hey, would this starter work for my 2010 Dodge Grand caravan? The vehicle is dead and will not turn over. The battery was tested and had a full charge so I know it's not the battery. Could it be the alternator by chance?

A: If you've tested your battery and you know it's compatible, then there could still be several reasons why your car will not start. Starter/alternator issues are possible causes yes, but you would need to get your car checked by a mechanic to pinpoint it for sure.
