Had this a few months now and does the job. Feels sturdy even extended out most of the way. Nice and light to carry.

Do Not buy this ladder!!! I purchased it, went to use it and the thing was so flimsy I thought it was going to fold in half! I can't believe they even make an extension ladder so poorly made.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Good for the small jobs

I have had this ladder for over a year. I purchased it so that I could paint our 2nd floor window trims. As with most ladders, the higher it is extended the more wobbly it becomes. I would recommend getting the wheels that allow it to "roll" up the side of the house.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: How much doesthis ladder weigh? It says this is a featherlite ladder but was wondering just how light it is? I have used other large extension ladders that were quite cumbersome to use due to weight.

    1 Answer
    • A: Approximate weight of the ladder is 32 lbs.

Q: Is the 20" or 24" ladder good enough for climbing to the roof of a house?

    1 Answer
    • A: Yes, theoretically a 20’ or a 24’ extension ladder is good enough for climbing onto the roof of a house but it depends on how high your roof is. The ladder you select should extends at least 3’ taller than the height of your roof.

Q: What does "safe working height" mean? Detail says this ladder has a safe working height of 17'. Does this mean the top of ladder will rest against a point 17' up from ground? Or that user's feet are 17' feet up from ground? Or average person could reach a point 17' feet up from ground?

    1 Answer
    • A: A 24' extension ladder is made up of two 12' sections. Subtract the overlap area (where the sections come together) and subtract the top 2 rungs (which are not approved for standing). Then account for the ladder angle...this gives you the 17ft "safe working height"!
