Distracting on/off button

Brews good coffee but has a few odd features. It’s weird and annoying that the on/off button flashes constantly when the machine is not in use. Programming is also a little awkward and not intuitive, though it works well enough when you read the manual. You really do need to read the manual.

Better than the first impression

We were looking for a 14 cup maker and had seen the braun 14 cup but was with a cone filter.... not our favorite.... anyways looking at the Paderno..... which happened to be on sale...... we were a bit skeptical as the product seemed very cheap and light made.
Anyways we have tried it and it works great so far and hopefully it lasts for a long time..... it is better than the Cuisinart all in one grinder, 12 cup, single cup unit we had just purchased.

Don’t waste your money!!

Worst coffee maker I’ve ever owned! Had it 3 months. From the beginning it leaked coffee grounds. The filter basket has a solid bottom, coffee can only exit the sides. Bought a different one and even used paper filters with it, still doesn’t brew a clean cup of coffee. It also beeps that it’s completed but there will still be a cup of water to filter through and there is no mechanism to stop the flow of coffee when the pot is removed. Don’t waste your money!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: What does flashing on button mean. How do you turn it off.

- A: The "Brew/Off button" is not supposed to be flashing. according to Vida 1-800-263-9768. Mine had flashing the problem. Vida told me to take it back which I did. No problem in returning to CTC since I only bought it a day ago. You might try returning to CTC or, Vida has three year warranty, you can phone them about returning.a year agoHelpful?
Q: After keep=warm mode ends, why does power button keep flashing. I press power button and it stops flashing but later it starts flashing again. How turn off. If no answer, will return for refund.
