Pan handle bends

I just took it out of the box and the handle for the pan bent when i tested how strong it was. I didn't try to bend it or anything, just holding it and light pull. But I think it will be ok as long as you just cook over the stove/fire with it and don't try to lift it off with heavy food inside. Regardless i think this is a good deal as you get the percolator coffee pot (yes it had it inside of it) and cups and a pot all made for camping. We will see.

Unfortunately poor quality

I purchased this cookset last summer because it seemed to have everything we needed for weekend camping. It made it through the first two trips but by the third, all pieces we chipped and some even starting to rust. Not bad if you're going to be using a low heat stove and need a cheap set for a trip or two. If you like to cook over a fire, invest in a good cast iron frying pan and get a cheap set of mugs and plates to eat from.

Not the Greatest...

You get what you pay for and this one falls in that category. My husband picked this up because of the price and after just a few uses we've decided to upgrade to a better quality enamelware for our next camping season. This is lightweight and the enamel is thin and easily chipped, even with careful storage. We also found the cups rather on the small side. I'd only recommend it as a starter set or for occasional campers, as I do not think it would last long under regular use.

Great and long-lasting!

I have a set of these from about 8 or 9 years ago. The ONLY difference is the color. They have lasted a VERY long time and I go camping with them about 6 times a year. When I cook a lot, I use the frying pan AND one of the plates on my coleman stove. the plates are great food cooking on! I recommend them in every way! even cleanup is easy!
