    Erickson Big Bed Sr. Truck Bed Extender

    Works great, although should come with a greater range of height extension. Even just a few inches up and down would help. For my 2016 F150 it just barely fits in a close to level plane with the tailgate, other trucks would likely have a similar situation. Like many of todays products the parts fit together in a very loose fashion but I was able to shim the "bolt together points" with thick washers and this seemed to take much of the "wobble or sloppiness" out of the unit. Worked great carrying 12 ft polycarbonate greenhouse panels and a few pieces of 12 ft 1x6 deck boards. One other thing, the regular price at Princess Auto was still $20.00 cheaper than the sale price at Canadian Tire but I needed it so ate the $20 difference.

    Work well on F150 (2024)

    Bought this for my 2024 F150 (give support to 10ft), I used the lowest position (out of 3) for it to be flush with opened tailgate. It's not as convenient to store while not in use like Yakima, it also can't be use at high up position for kayak or alike. But it can handle more weight (400lb) and I bought it purely for materials, now I feel more comfortable with 12' to 18' lumbers and trims. It's also less than 200$ during black friday, it's a no brainer.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    • A: Installs in 2 inch receiver to support loads extending from pickup bed. Rated at 400 lbs distributed weight. Knocks down for easy storage. Extends 4 feet from the receiver. Measures 52-1/2" x 48-1/2" wide when unfolded (in use), 52-1/2" long, 5-1/2" wide and 7" tall when folded.
