Very disappointed in how fast they wear out

I bought the tires new and installed them on October 26, snow was already on the ground to stay at that point. I put 13,319km on the tires in the winter season. The rear tires were worn done to 5mm from around 13mm at new. I have a 3/4 ton diesel pickup truck and I expect faster wear than a lighter vehicle but worn out in one season and less then 15000km is totally unacceptable for the premium price I paid. I also live about the 54th parallel so the winter roads are mostly snow covered for most of the winter and I never towed or hauled any heavy loads. I don’t recommend getting these tires for a bigger truck.

The tires are great, but the service was better

The tires are great but even better was the service I received from the CT store in Pembroke. I had the tires delivered there and made an appointment and I brought in the steel rims and the tech mounted the tires on the rims as well as installing the air pressure sensors I brought with the rims. While waiting at the store I purchased a set of wheel carriers. The tech tried to get the wheels in the carriers, but they wouldn't fit so I got to return them without taking them home and trying them myself first. The tech also mentioned that I should return in 3 days or 100 Km to get the wheel lugs tightened, I returned 2 days and 110 Km later and the same tech was there, and he did the tightening. All in all, it was a great visit. Thank you very much and have a great day.

don't recommend

blizzak LT are definitely not a great winter tire with very little to no grip on ice and terrible in slushy conditions and just ok in deep snow while in 4x4 they seem to be wearing good would be the only plus side. highly recommend the blizzak dm-v2 the LTs just don't cut it. I've had them on for 2 winters and will not be buying them again.
