plastic isn't the way to go

use this for carrying dirt around the yard during the summer and wood in the winter, plastic didn't hold up for even one winter. it has cracks and holes developed throughout the tray. wouldn't recommend

Wheelbarrow

Bought it on sale thankfully because I had to buy an axle(didn’t come with one) and would never get another if I returned it. Putting it together was fun with a few holes not lining up so drilling was required. Otherwise huge and kinda stable with the two wheels

Bought this wheelbarrow with the hopes it would be a good investment well it wasn't. Shattered in sub zero weather just holding firewood. A very big disappointment

Design Issues

The wheelbarrow tub is roomy and sturdy, but the design has some problems. The axle is too short by exactly one wheel spacer. Because only one spacer can be used, the tub sits slightly off-centre. As well, the plate for the back of the wheelbarrow, meant to keep the legs spaced, is too long. Both of these problems appear to be simple math errors. Because we needed the wheelbarrow immediately, use it every day, and live a good half-hour drive from the store, we didn't dissemble and return it, but I did call the support number for Yardworks. All he could tell me was to return it to the store. We're using it as-is, but I wouldn't recommend buying it.

Needed a wheel barrow and chose this one

Love this wheelbarrow so far. Haven't used it that ,much but it seems built well enough for my needs. The only thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars is that it is difficult to completely empty when dumping. Some material stays in and you actually have to lift the wheel barrow to get it completely empty. Just a bit of a design flaw on the front edge of the bucket. It hits the ground to quickly not allowing you to dump as you should.

Q: Is the plastic tray durable under winter conditions? I use my wheelbarrows year round on a hobby farm.. The plastic tray would be good as the steel tray wheelbarrows quickly rust out from the livestock waste.

A: The plastic tray is rated to withstand the winter conditions. Depending on the use, they have passed significant impact test at a temperature of -18C.
